Video - Truth Told Raw Deal

The positive press group has been looking at how young people are portrayed in the media. They have produced this DVD as a tool to draw people’s attention to what they have been finding; it was entered into a competition run by the speaker of the House of Commons under the title of 'truth told or raw deal'.

They are concerned that the media is unaware of the impact that these messages can have on young people and the resulting vicious circle that can arise from the process with young people living up to their stereotypes. They would like to be a part of the solution and will be exploring ways of producing some 'Positive press' in the future.
